To serve people who are affected by natural disasters such as earthquake, flood, landslide, fire, drought, starvation, epidemic diseases and serve other vulnerable people with the disasters.
The objectives of NCRS are as follows:
- Initiate relief and rehabilitation assistance available to the survivors of disasters.
- Livelihood support for people displaced by disaster to come back into their normal lives as well as for their sustainability livelihood.
- Increased levels of individual, community and organizational preparedness for disaster.
- Increased capacity of NCRS and the Christian community to manage disasters and disaster risk.
